Chéret’s women, often called "Chérettes", were central to his art.
Joyful, confident, elegant, and playful women.
Seen as representations of modern, liberated Parisian women of the Belle Époque era.
These figures aren’t overly idealized in a classical way but radiate personality and charisma, often depicted dancing, smiling, or in theatrical poses.
